Using upholstered chairs for the ends of the table to soften the look of all the wood is an easy way to lift up your dining room. Incorporating a different console that coordinates with the table to bring in an unexpected element is another simple swap!
Don't be afraid to double up! Using TWO of the same rug to expand the space and give the illusion of one rug. Layering artwork and pillows also contributes to a deeper, more luxe feel.
Play with visual weight. The metal arm chair provides a nice contrast in visual weight and proportion to the sofa.
