Steven Love Biography

I grew up in Michigan but moved to Arizona in 1995 to escape the cold Michigan Winters. I started a Solar Power business, repaired TVs and also dabbled in freelance delivery services during my early years in Arizona, but I've always had a secret passion for art and photography. I did not get my first computer, a Gateway Laptop, until 2002. This was when I gained my first exposure to the Internet and the media of Digital Art and Digital Photography. Most of my prior artistic experience was in the traditional mediums of oil and air brush painting. Digital was a brand new medium for me to explore. Being a fan of Sci-Fi, Fantasy and Surreal art I started off my Digital exploration by creating Sci-Fi Art using simple programs such as "Microsoft Picture It" and a free program I downloaded from the Internet called GIMP. I also took up Digital Photography at about the same time using a little 4 megapixel Fuji A340. After that my knowledge of Digital Art and Photography then began to grow at an almost exponential rate. After many collaborations with other artists and a few commissions I decided to take my skills into the professional realm in 2006.My first higher grade camera was an Olympus E-300. I used that to take stock oriented photos which are still for sale on the very first micro stock site I joined called iSTOCK . I have since upgraded to a Nikon D2XS, an assortment of professional grade lenses, Photoshop CS5 and a MacBookPro Laptop for my Photo editing and Digital renderings. I have also expanded my art and photo galleries where my works are for sale. Links to those galleries can be found in various areas of my website. In late 2007 I decided to go full time into my Digital Art and Photography services. My hope is to continue to build up my new business and become an outstanding Photographer and Artist servicing both the public and business community of Arizona and beyond.
