- The 2 photos were taken at different exposure levels and then merged together in 32 bit HDR Color.
- Unlike straight single shot photographs HDR images are more vibrant due to the overlaying of the separate photos..
- HDR processing was not available back in 2010, which is why it was not published before now..
- Without HDR processing the colors and contrasts of this image would not have been possible.
- Monument Valley is located on the Utah Arizona border on the Navajo Reservation..
- The entrance to the Valley is on the Utah side but most of the monuments and rock formations are on the Arizona side.
