John Hoffman Photography

I migrated to Colorado Springs from Peoria, Illinois in June 2002. I received my BS Degree in Fine Art from Illinois State University in 1991.
The Wild West is a breath of fresh air to me and Landscape Photography is a specialty of mine. When I first laid eyes on the majestic Rocky Mountains of Colorado at the age of 15 I was so awed I couldn't stop gazing in amazement. Ever since then I have wanted to move to this glorious place.

Digital Photography has become a passion, hobby, and livelihood for me since putting a hold on the canvas and oil paints. Several of my images have appeared in publications and brochures in the Pikes Peak region and I like being surprised when I walk into a local book store and see one of my images on a calendar or the front cover of a book. I really love this State and the Pikes Peak Region in particular is an amazing place to live and see. The photo opts here are plentiful and beautiful. I think that this place is just one step away from Heaven. I hope my photography helps people see what I see...
