We live in Arizona and saw a rug we liked at our local store. Then we were told it was not in stock and it would be November before it could be delivered. I found it in stock at the Firestone, CO store. I called and Oscar Franco took care of us. He guided me through the order process and then followed up 3 times prior to scheduling our delivery. Would not give them business, attempted to apply for the financing online received an error visited the Firestone location 3 occasions with with the employee submitted about 6 applications delaying the process on the 4th visit we successfully placed an order for a bed set and vanity with Lupita was told it was in Arizona in stock that they would transfer it in should take about 2 weeks. Called to check on it 2 weeks later and was told it was on back order not available until November. Spoke with management and was told nothing they were interested in doing to save the business. The total sell was about $2,800 the customer service was terrible every call made with a guaranteed call back was an empty promise. The quality of the product is trash the vanity was delivered and the bracket broken they had to return to fix it. The delivery and install crew were unprofessional delivery window for the vanity was 11-1 we received a a call at 9:00 stating they had a cancellation so they were going to be there at 10 which didn’t work for us as we were not expecting it. They said this was when they would be there basically or no delivery.
I’ve done quite a bit of business with this location and am ultimately super disappointed in this experience. My order has been cancelled and I will be taking my family’s business else where. Photos are representation of the quality of the deliver and the bracket being broken with the gap of the pieces not connecting.

Fair pricing plenty of sales people. The quality of furniture is lower which pricing reflects. Wish there was a store that’s more in between but seems with furniture it’s either really nice or cheap

Mixed feelings. I was willing to purchase something that was damaged, and even though I'm "Mr. fixit", there was no guarantee that I could. I was willing to take the chance. The salesperson wasn't willing to lower the price because of the damage. You don't treat customers that way. jmho

A long time customer of AFW, nothing fancy but the furniture has always gotten the job done. I don’t know if morale is low but the attention to quality, detail and delivery is unacceptable. The feet attached to the sofa were skewed and not attached perpendicular to the sofa. This feels like a very basic error, l expect better quality and service. I am happy to provide photos.

Addendum-
After working with Jolena in customer service she was extremely helpful and understanding of our situation. We were then granted a return/exchange for a different furniture set that we are very happy with. The delivery of the new furniture and removal of the other set was very smooth and professional. Thank you for your help Jolena!
We visited the location in Firestone August 26, purchased a sofa and recliner. We got the products home, unloaded them inside, when we then unwrapped the sofa we found a scuff on the upper corner which had been covered by the wrappings). We promptly called
the customer service line informing them of the scuff, the agent scheduled us for a repaid tech to come assess the damage and see how we should proceed. While waiting for the technician visit we realized we weren’t in love with the set so we would just prefer
to return the set and purchase something different that would better fit our needs. I started the return process, august 29th, by talking to an agent, she had me take photos of the furiture to show them the condition and then they would tell us how to proceed.
We were very promptly denied for a return, I called to ask why this was and a new agent said it was because we “denied tie downs” and the scuff from their assessment “looks as though it was scraped against a wall”. Again, this scrape was not caused by us as
we did not unwrap the sofa until it was safely in our living room. My husband stated that he was never explained that by denying “tie downs” that the products would not be available for return. The men at the loading dock asked if we had tie downs, my husband responded “yes we have tie downs”, the dock workers said “okay great”. After speaking to three different agents and being told several
times “sorry, we can’t accept the return because you declined tie downs and the couch is scuffed” and “There’s nothing more we can do, the claim has been denied for return”.
I have NEVER received this POOR customer service at any establishment before. To deny a return on that is 3 days old and say there is nothing you can do is absolutely unacceptable. Also, to deny the return request based off of personal opinion based on a photo
when we called in the damage within thirty minutes of setting the furniture up in our home is ridiculous. I would caution everyone to think twice before buying products from AFW. Even if you do allow them to tie your furniture down, who knows what kind of
money stealing scheme they are going to pull. We have been loyal AFW customers for several years until now. We are deeply dissatisfied and disappointed with AFW and their lack of customer support.

Your employee Coen (spelling?), college age kid in the customer service center, has gone above and beyond, exemplifying what AFW strives to be as a company. If I were you, I’d do everything in my power to make sure he is acknowledged and promoted to train up everyone else into that 5 star character. Well done!

The gentleman working at customer pick up were so helpful and kind. I accidentally came with a car that was too small the first time, and they didn't treat me like a "stupid women". I came back and they remembered my name and communicated everything. Thanks guys! Loving the patio furniture!

I've bought several pieces here over the years and am done shopping here. The pricing is not as great as you would think. The quality has been iffy. And for some reason, every time I buy something I have to give them all my personal data, let them scan my driver's license, give them my shoe size, let them know what I had for breakfast, and every other intrusive freaking question.
Response to response: These comments about shoe size and breakfast are tongue and cheek, meant to show contempt for how difficult it is to buy something from you.
I don't know guys. I'm just saying I've bought better pieces easier and for less money at other stores. And I still have those pieces. I no longer have any of the pieces I bought from you (except the one I bought yesterday [and kinda wish I hadn't]), and I think that's pretty telling. When I think about the ten or twelve times I've been in to one of your locations, I mostly remember disappointment and frustration. Sam's Club, Big Lots, and thrift stores are good alternatives for big items.

Bought furniture $1600➕. Was told is was back ordered but would be delivered 6 days later. Coming to find out that it is 3 months on back order, and did not apologize for us being mislead. They don't care, and had no problem returning funds. I WILL TELL EVERYONE NOT TO SHOP HERE, WHERE EVERYONE LIES TO MAKE THEIR COMMISSION!

I called them many times to check when my product would be received. but they always answered yes, saying they would call me back, but I never received a call back from them. I went to buy my furniture in early June, they said I would receive all my furniture by the end of June, but at the end of June I called back and they said the items hadn't arrived yet and asked me to wait 2-3 weeks later. And they would call me back to inform me, and I waited another two weeks. When I recently called them back to check on that product, they didn't seem to want to answer me. Very disappointed with this place's customer service.

Update: They have agreed to honor the warranty and replace the chairs. Took a little work to get them to agree. In general, still a good place to do business, and the sales team does a great job.
The service has been wonderful. Assistance with warranty is non existent. Cloth separated on three of four chairs, decorative tacks are coming off. Furniture was delivered in April 2024. When contacted about warranty, they claimed the cloth had been cut. My pictures show it is pulling apart. They did not even have the decency to call me back as promised. Do not believe their "warranty" claims. They would not even agree to look at the chairs in person to verify.

DO NOT PURCHASE ANYTHING AS A GIFT FOR SOMEONE ELSE. If you are buying a gift for another person and you want them to pick it up, beware that ONLY THE PERSON ORDERING can pick up the item and must show the credit card you paid with.
I wonder just how many sales AFW has lost because of this policy?
Edit: I understand this policy is to avoid fraud. However, a better solution is advisable. I do not live in the same city as the recipient. Just wondering how many customers have you lost that would have purchased gifts for others if you had a better policy? FYI - your customer care staff that refunded the sale, very indifferent and not helpful.
We have been long term, faithful customers. We live in a smaller town, we do not have a variety of places to shop for furniture. We will continue to buy from AFW, but strongly recommend that NO one purchased gifts for other at AFW.

This is the first negative review I’ve left for a business. Generally, when I’ve had an issue with a service I’ve paid for, the company makes it right. Not here. I made several attempts to discuss the issue I’ve had and it seems they know they are big enough to survive without fixing it so, they’re not going to.

Great quality furniture, good prices, fast delivery... BUT they showed up 15 minutes early, our window as 7am to 9:30 and they rolled up at 6:45am... this caused some chaos as I was trying to leave with the dog and my child to get to the school bus, and my husband was the one staying for delivery. Because they showed up so early, EVERYTHING was happening at the same time... anyone with kids and pets knows this can be a little bit much first thing in the morning.

Shopping in the store was great. I wasn't bombarded by sales staff .. I was able to leisurely walk through and look at my own speed. Then when I was ready the sales people were more than ready to take my order. The delivery went off without a hitch but the recliner was damaged. Customer Service was so pleasant and more than willing to help .. they swapped out the recliner with a new one and took the damaged recliner away. My experience with American Furniture was wonderful and I will definitely recommend it to everyone.
