  • I had camped the night and woke up early the next morning, hoping for an incredible sunrise, but the weather appeared stormy and looked like it would not turn out well.
  • I found an excellent lineup with Mount Sneffels in the background near Ridgway, Colorado, set up my camera, and waited in the rain/snow.
  • Within 5 minutes of the sun rising, one of the most spectacular scenes came together over the mountains and left me jaw-dropped with several great photos.
