Sean Strait Biography

Born and raised in Colorado, Sean Strait has been sketching, drawing and painting images of nature since childhood.  Within the past decade, Sean has taken up photography and concentrated on capturing the beauty of nature and its inhabitants.  Using digital means as well as traditional slide film, Sean concentrates on creating images that reflect not only an emotional attachment to nature, but also advocate for its preservation as well.

Sean has worked towards the conservation and protection of nature through the National Forest Service, Bureau of Land Management, and the Fish and Wildlife Service. He now focuses on spreading his enthusiasm for all things wild, particularly the landscapes of Colorado.

He currently resides in Littleton, Colorado, where he teaches natural science.
