Tips to Make Sure Your Game-Day Viewing Scores Big

The Super Bowl is almost upon us! It's not too late to put together everything you need for the big game with all the essentials. Here are the four things you can do to have your game day be a crowd-pleaser.

1) Huddle Up

Take a minute to look at the space where you're going to watch the game and consider your seating needs. Are you inviting family over? If so, you might look at a larger sectional that can comfortably seat a crowd. If you are planning on a virtual gathering, something like a functional recliner might be just what you need to create the best seat in the house.

2) Tackle Your TV

Whether you have your very own home jumbotron or a TV of a more modest size, make sure that it's set up so that you can watch the game clearly. Consider putting your TV on a media stand that does more than just hold your TV—like a TV stand with a fireplace insert to keep you toasty or an entertainment center with plenty of storage space. While you're at it, also think about your sound situation. Investing in an external sound system can make the difference between just watching the game and feeling like you're down on the field at the game.

3) Establish End (Table) Zones

You've got your seating down and you're all set with your TV, but do you have somewhere to set food and drinks while watching the game? End tables and coffee tables keep food at hand but out of the way so that everyone can enjoy the game without worrying about spills. Coffee tables also make great spots to stash snacks to help satisfy mid-game munchies.

4) Fix a Football Feast

One of the best parts about the Big Game (besides the game and the company) is the food. Go for the win with easy-to-make food that's sure to please a crowd. Check out our Pinterest board for recipe ideas including sliders, chili, nachos, stuffed onion rings, and more!

When you've arranged your seating, straightened out your TV situation, set up spaces for food, and cooked your football feast, you're all set to kick back and enjoy the Big Game!
