Robert Villena Biography

I discovered photography in 2001 while on a trip to New York City. I took a photo of the World Trade Center from Liberty Island just 3 weeks before the events of 9/11. It still remains one of my favorite images in my portfolio. Now I dedicate myself to capturing the beauty of the Colorado landscape as well as the beauty of weddings. As an avid traveler, I also capture images from the countries I visit, such as Ireland, England and France. Every photo I take I approach with the idea of making it different and unique by using different angles and lighting techniques. Even if it's a well known or recognizable landmark I try to see it in a way that will set the photo apart from the many pictures you may have seen of that very landmark.
